LIFEGUARD Leadership training began in January 2009 and we have seen God change students’ lives more through this endeavor than any other thing we’ve done in youth ministry.  We meet for a half hour once a week to pray, on Tuesdays from 4-4:30 pm. 

 

LIFEGUARDS are challenged with 9 principles of leadership and 36 commissions.  In September 2010, we began LIFEGUARD Jr. for youth in grades 4 and 5, meeting Thursday afternoons.

LIFEGUARD COMMISSIONS

 

Missionary Don Triplett said, “It’s not so much the curriculum as it is the commission.  What are you sending them out to do?”  Tidalwave Lifeguards are given one commission a week for 36 weeks to exercise their faith.
