WHAT TO EXPECT
We understand it can be a little intimidating visiting a church for the first time, not knowing what to expect when you arrive. Below are a few frequently asked questions about a typical Sunday morning here at Turning Point Church.
What time are your services?
We have two services on Sunday mornings. Our first service is at 9:00 am and the second at 10:45 am. A service typically runs an hour and fifteen minutes.
What can I expect when I walk in?
When you first walk in, you will be greeted at the door and provided with a bulletin. Feel free to grab a cup of coffee, tea or water at our Coffee Cafe, located in the foyer. Then stop at the Connection Point to check out what events and activities we have going on. There will be a friendly face behind the counter to point you in the right direction and answer any questions you may have. After you fill out a guest card, please accept our welcome gift as our “thank you” for being with us.
I have children. Where do I take them?
KIDS KINGDOM meets in the lower level of our building during both Sunday service times. Once you stop by the registration counter to fill out a short info form about your child(ren), he or she will be given a name tag and placed in the appropriate class. We have a nursery for 0-2 year olds, pre-k for ages 3-5 and elementary for grades K – 5.
What should I wear?
We do not have a dress code. You’ll see anything from a t-shirt and jeans to a shirt and tie.
